Reiki – a natural healing method

It can be described as a hands-on natural healing method that uses ‘universal life force energy. This term comes from the Japanese words “rei,” which means universal, and “ki,” meaning vital life force energy. This energy flows through all things. It is an abundant, gentle spiritual energy and is not associated with any specific religion, culture, or group. It is used all over the world in places that include hospitals and hospices. It has aided individuals in healing by enabling people to become more energetically balanced physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually.

The practitioner does not expend any of his or her own energy to channel Reiki. The client draws the energy that they need and the practitioner is the conduit between the universal energy field and the client.

Since Reiki is in everything in the universe, other tools may be used along with traditional Reiki. I often choose crystals. All things have their own vibration and every crystal has its own vibration as well. I may not use crystals every time I channel Reiki and there is no upcharge for their use. I use them as I am guided. If the client has never been to a practitioner, then Reiki without crystals is often performed first to get energies moving within the body. As the sessions progress the use of crystals becomes more likely.

Full Session

There are several avenues I pursue. Usually in the beginning there are 4 sessions channeled as quickly as possible to get energies flowing. There is a discount for these sessions to encourage the flow of energy and to proceed in a timely manner. These sessions are full reiki sessions. A full session consists of the practitioner laying on hands at 12 to 15 positions on the client’s body. Full reiki is also used when a client has not had Reiki channeled for an extended period and energies need to be restarted. The first session includes a free 30-minute consultation.

Intuitive

After the initial energies have been activated then the practitioner often starts using Intuitive Reiki. This is where the practitioner reads the client’s body intuitively and places the hands where directed. The practitioner often jumps from one position to another without what might seem like any true sequence. The client’s being knows where energy is needed and the practitioner intuitively reads this and proceeds accordingly.

Distance Reiki

This is when there is a distance between the client and the practitioner, this distance can be anywhere in the world. Since everything came from one source everything is connected. This means that we are still connected and energy can instantly be channeled. There are several requirements to contract this type of reiki. The session has to be prepaid before the service is provided and a picture of the client should be emailed to the practitioner clientpicture@goodsholistichealing.com. The location of the client is also required so the energy can be directed to the proper place.

As previously stated crystals will be used in any of these modalities as intuitively directed.

The last part of Reiki is the teaching of Reiki to those who want to pursue the practice. Reiki I is the most common and is often used to channel self-reiki. This can also be used to channel beginner reiki to other people. Reiki II, III, and Master are for people who want to continue their skills and start a practice. I will be announcing classes as they become available and interest is shown. Please email me at classes@goodsholistichealing.com, to let me know of your interest in classes and to be notified when they are available. There is usually a minimum amount of students required to hold a class and there may also be a limit on the class size.

Reiki can be coupled with Spiritual Mentoring and Meditation.
